Student Financial Services is seeking to fill two full time positions:
This position has primary responsibility for day-to-day contact and advising of students, faculty, staff and parents. This position also serves as a resource for outreach efforts, as well as, Spanish speaking parents and students regarding financial aid and scholarships.
Programmatic responsibilities may include verification, award adjustments, professional judgment, and needs analysis. Bilingual responsibilities will include supporting recruitment, retention & outreach efforts, specifically targeting Spanish speaking populations.

The Communication Center Manager job entails organizing and directing the daily activities concerned with the Communications Center’s operation. The main responsibility of the manager is to manage and facilitate the delivery of outstanding customer service to all WSU clients across the six WSU campuses according to established department standards. The manager will train, guide, and empower Communication Center Representatives (or agents) to execute their tasks in an exceptional manner.
The manager monitors staff and oversees Communication Center’s overall performance and analyzes daily data to ensure a high level of customer service delivery to all SFS customers. The manager will prepare and develop schedules and implement best business practices to control and evaluate adequate staffing levels for both inbound customer calls and emails. In addition, the manager will act as an information source and will utilize independent judgment regularly in answering agent’s questions and following up and giving instructions as needed as well as resolving customer complaints and questions.
