Flavor of the Month Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Be fourteen(14) years of age or older at the time of application
  • Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
  • Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2024) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

How to Apply

  • Write an online response (250 words or less) answering the following question:
    • “Summer and ice cream go hand-in-hand. In fact, July is National Ice Cream Month, and that’s the inspiration behind this award. We think people are very similar to ice cream; some are nutty, others a little exotic, while some are very comforting. If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?”

The Scott Alan Turner Personal Finance Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Graduating high school seniors or undergraduate college students who are in good standing
  • Planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or vocational school on a part-time or full-time basis
  • United States citizen or legal resident
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

How to Apply

  • Complete the online application.
  • Write an essay (500+ words) on the following topic:
    • Discuss what your family taught you about money/personal finance and what you’ve learned about money on your own. Examples include spending, saving, investing, student loans, budgeting, credit cards.

The Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award Sweepstakes

Eligibility

  • Open only to residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories who are at least sixteen (16) years old at the time of entry.
  • Entrants must also be high school senior students who will be or college students who are enrolled at least half-time in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program or graduate program at an eligible school or parent/legal guardians of students that satisfy the above eligibility requirements.

Live Más Scholarship

Eligibility

  • You must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, at least 16 years of age and no older than 26 years of age, located in the United States or D.C. and on track to apply for accredited post-high school/post-secondary educational programs (including accredited two-and four-year colleges, universities, vocational-technical and trade schools) pending receipt of a high-school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
  • You’ll have to identify the specific secondary education program, college or certificate/degree option you want to get into, or for which you which you need funds. You may be looking to enroll or already enrolled in this secondary educational program.
  • If you are a minor, you’ll need written consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
  • You must be willing to work with the Taco Bell Foundation’s Scholarship Management Company throughout the award process.

More Details

  • Create and submit a video (2 minutes or less in length) that tells us the story of your life’s passion
  • It could be a short film, animation or just a simple testimonial
  • This is not about how well you can make a film – we just want you to show us your talents and explain why you should be considered for a Live Más Scholarship.

Rover College Scholarship

Eligibility

  • You need to be a resident of the United States.
  • You must be a graduating high school senior or currently a freshman, sophomore, or junior in college. We reserve the right to verify date of high school graduation and/or college enrollment.
  • If you’re a graduating high school senior, your GPA must be 3.0 or above.
  • If you’re in college, your GPA must be 2.5 or above.
  • You can’t be related to anyone on the Rover staff, but you can be related to someone who’s a pet sitter or dog walker on Rover.

    • How did growing up with a pet in your life (could be a friend’s or family member’s) impact the person you are today?

Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes

Eligibility

  • Between the ages of 8 and 18 (not yet age 19)
  • Permanent residents of and currently residing in the U.S.A. or Canada
  • Currently working on an inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months
  • Working as an individual to lead their service work. The Barron Prize does not accept applications from large groups of young people.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Antibody Scholarship Program

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years of age or older as of Aug. 9, 2023 and enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university for the fall 2019 semester.
  • Must have declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related life science field
  • Graduate students must have a cumulative graduate GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and have received a cumulative undergraduate GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Undergraduate Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors must have a cumulative college GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Undergraduate Freshmen must have a cumulative high school GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
