Mann Lake Beekeeping Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
  • Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Must be a student/enrollee of any of the following: entomology program, major in agriculture & environmental sciences, or other related studies.

For a chance to win the scholarship, write a 300-word essay on any of the following topics:

  • In the fast-changing environment now, in your own words, how did it affect the bees, and what must be done to protect their population from getting smaller?
  • How can we spread awareness that caring for the bees is caring for the environment in general?
  • Aside from honey, what other benefits of bees are underrated?

Essays must be submitted as an attached PDF file to scholarship@mannlake.com, along with  the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Address
  • Major
  • Phone number
  • School name
  • Date of birth

Use the following subject line: Mann Lake $1000 Scholarship | (Your Name). Only one submission per person is allowed. You must be able to prove your eligibility based on the above criteria.

Griffin Ainsworth Scholarship

Eligibility

Applications for this scholarship are due March 31, 2023, and are an opportunity for any business student enrolled in an accredited school as an undergraduate or graduate student.

Idaho Milk Processors Association Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Students enrolled for Engineering, Agriculture, or Business majors with a desire to enter into the dairy industry.  Special consideration will be given to those interested in entering the Idaho dairy industry.

Application Process:

  • Fill out online application through the provide link.
  • Write an essay (250-400 words) on the following:
    • Describe why you decided to attend college, why you chose your major, why you are interested in pursuing a career in the Dairy Industry and what your goals are after you complete your education.

WebstaurantStore Foodservice and Hospitality Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled full-time or part-time, or plan to be enrolled, in a college or culinary arts school.
  • Must be majoring in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field.

How to Apply:

  •  Attach a 500-word essay attachment (in .doc or .pdf format) that describes how you became interested in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality career and what you hope to bring to the industry.

WebstaurantStore Diversity Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled full-time or part-time, or plan to be enrolled, in a college or culinary arts school.
  • Must be majoring in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field.

ABLE MOVING SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college or university and must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a business program.
  • Be in good academic standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

How to Apply:

  • An essay (maximum 1,000 words) addressing the following topic: 
    • “Share an experience with moving, whether it be to the next town, across the country, or internationally. What helped make the move easier? What challenges did you face?” 
  • An up-to-date resume
  • A current unofficial transcript from applicant’s college/university or high school

Finale Inventory Global Supply Chain and Logistics Industry Scholarship

Eligibility:
  • College student with a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • United States citizen or permanent resident
  • Enrolled (or will be enrolled) full-time in a university to enrolled full-time in pursuing a degree related to supply chain and operations management, inventory control, materials management, or procurement.

How to Apply:

  • Please provide a 1,000 word personal statement describing your long-term career aspirations in the supply chain or operations field.

M.S. Cannon and Susie Cannon Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must complete the WSU General Scholarship Application by January 31 prior to the start of the academic year. There is no additional application process.
  • Must be agricultural students of at least sophomore standing at WSU who meet the requirements for financial assistance and who have demonstrated growth and development in agriculturally oriented endeavors by working and achieving substantially to their capacities.
  • The term “agricultural students” shall be given broad interpretation so that any qualified students pursuing a course of study in any agriculturally-oriented or related field shall be eligible.

Bohrnsen Endowed Scholarship Fund

Eligibility

  • Must complete the WSU General Scholarship Application by January 31 prior to the start of the academic year. There is no additional application process.
  • Must be a graduate from Rosalia High School who are interested in agriculture studies at WSU.
