The Five Pack Creative Computer Science Scholarship for Veterans

Eligibility

  • Be a veteran, spouse of a veteran, or child of a veteran
  • Be currently enrolled at or accepted into an accredited postsecondary school
  • Be studying computer science, programming, or a related field

  • Write a 500- to 1,000-word essay on ONE of the topics below:
    • How has being a veteran or the family member of a veteran shaped your life goals?
    • What influenced your decision to study computer science, programming, or a related field?
    • In what ways do you believe our society could do a better job supporting veterans and their families?

Computer Science Scholarship Program for College Students

Eligibility

  • Must be a graduate of a public or accredited private high school
  • Must be a first-year student in a computer engineering or computer science program at a US-based college or university, residing in US
  • Must have a minimum composite SAT score of 1700 or ACT score of 27
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be passionate about computer engineering

The CareerCrawlers MERIT Scholarship Program 2017-2018

Eligibility

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 either enrolled or planning to be enrolled in an accredited university or college in Fall 2017 or Spring 2018.
  • You must be at least 18 years old (at the time of disbursement)
  • Must be a Canadian or US citizen
  • Must be enrolled in an academic program in either healthcare or engineering related field
    • Nursing, Trucking, EMT, Postal, or Applied Sciences and Medicine

All Applications must be submitted before September 30, 2017 (Fall semester), and December 15, 2017 (Spring semester). Winners will be announced November 15, 2017, and January 27, 2018.

How to Apply

  • Submit a 300-400 word essay explaining why you should be considered for the scholarship.
    • Include a short video display of your past projects.
    • Email a short video of your professor’s and teacher’s recommendations.
    • As supporting content, you can send relevant photos, documents and videos
  • Fill out the application online.

Best Company Scholarship

Eligibility

  • You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a legal resident of one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia
  • You must currently be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or vocational program, or be planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate, graduate or vocational program during the entirety of the 2017-2018 academic program at an accredited career college, technical school, or two- or four-year college or university in the United States
  • You must be pursuing a degree related to technology (i.e. computer science, software engineering, management information systems)

Women in Engineering Study.com Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Female
  • Applicants should be pursuing a degree with an engineering emphasis.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident.
  • Must be an enrolled (or accepted) female student in an accredited college or university who is planning on continuing the next year.
  • Graduating high school seniors who meet the above-mentioned criteria may apply.
  • Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
  • Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Study.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.
