Scholarship Opportunity for Women in STEM

Eligibility

  • The students who are seeking scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in their respective course to apply. Provided, if you’re applying for a STEM course in Spring, you can also get shortlisted for this particular award.
  • Students must be 18 years and above and must be a citizen or permanent resident of the given countries United States, UK, Australia, and Canada.

  • To get accepted for our exclusive scholarship you have to write down an essay as to why should we select you for the Scholarship, then pass through the application process which will be explained to the candidates shortlisted for the reward scholarship. It is mandatory that your article must have a brief of all your achievements till date as well as your future ambitions. We need you to be highly motivated and a person with strong personality, someone who wins and does something great with the scholarship amount.

Bi-Annual Deputy Scholarship for Women in Technology

Eligibility

  • Deputy is proud to support women pursuing careers in technology with our Deputy Women in Technology Scholarship. This scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to one student annually who is currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, business technology administration or a related IT field.
  • You are a full-time student enrolled at an accredited public or private (non-profit) US-based college or university
  • You must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • You must submit an unofficial copy of your transcript

All applications must be submitted by  July 31, 2018 (for Fall Semester) or November 30, 2018 (for Spring semester)

  • Write a 500 word or less essay about how our scholarship and your current technology course workload will help you achieve success and what that success means to your and/or your career aspirations.

Body Gear Guide Scholarship Program

Eligibility

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in Fall (of the current year) or Spring (of the following year).
  • Must be at least 18 years old (at the time of disbursement)
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or Canada
  • Must be enrolled in an academic program in a healthcare or Engineering related field

Omorfio Scholarship for Fashion, Medical, and Engineering Students

Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years old (at the time of disbursement)
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0
  • Must be studying in an accredited college or university in the following fields: fashion, physiology, medicine, engineering, natural or applied sciences.

    • How you can motivate other people to stay fit and healthy.

NSHSS STEM Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Open to students studying in a STEM field, including computer science
  • Underrepresented minority background
  • High School senior
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrates a desire in any area of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics are eligible

Grace Hopper Conference Scholarship

Eligibility

  • You must be enrolled full time in a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico at the time the application is submitted
  • The scholarship is open to students pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM degree

  • Recipients receive paid registration to the Grace Hopper Conference
  • Travel, hotel, and meal stipend in the amount of $1,200 USD
  • These funds are not transferable to other individuals

Robert W. Thunen Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Junior or Senior Undergraduate, or Graduate Student.
  • Enrolled full time at four year college or university in California, Nevada, Oregon or Washington pursuing a lighting career.
  • Restricted to students studying Interior Design, Engineering-Related Technologies, Engineering/Technology, TV/Radio Broadcasting, Performing Arts, or Architecture

  • Submit a statement describing proposed lighting course work or project
  • Submit 3 recommendations, at least one from someone involved professionally or academically with lighting

Society of Women Engineers’ Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Only women are eligible
  • Undergraduate applicants must be planning to study an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology, or computing in the upcoming academic year
  • Masters and PhD candidates must be enrolled or accepted at a school with ABET-accredited programs in engineering, computing, or technology
  • You must be planning to attend full time (exceptions are made for reentry and non-traditional applicants)
  • You must not be fully funded for tuition, fees, and books and equivalent

Application deadlines depend on grade level. For Freshmen, you can apply March 1 through May 1. For Sophomores through Graduate Students, you can apply December 1 through February 15. All applications must be submitted by 5:00pm Central.
