Aspiring Attorney Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be a resident of South Carolina
  • Must be currently attending school in the United States or a high school senior who will be pursuing a career in law.
  • Must complete the Google form, including the essay response of 700-1000 words outlining their reasons for deciding to pursue a career in law. Please explain the main reason or reasons why you decided to become a lawyer and how you see yourself having an impact in this field
  • Deadline to apply is June 1st 2023

Ruhmann Law Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Is a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have other legal standing allowing them to work in the U.S.
  • Have been accepted into a U.S. college or law school
  • Will be enrolling in a U.S. undergraduate pre-law program, or entering law school for the first time during the fall semester of 2023
  • Have high scholastic achievement as evidenced by a GPA of 3.0 or above

The scholarship application form below must be accompanied by:

  • Resume
  • Essay up to 1,000 words
  • Complete high school transcripts, or undergraduate transcripts for first-year law applicants
  • Proof of acceptance to a university in the U.S.

Future Lawyer Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Rising high school seniors interested in pursuing a legal career
  • Undergraduate college students demonstrating pursuit of a legal career
  • All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

Students who would like to apply for consideration should submit a 500 word essay on the topic: “Why I’m Choosing To Become A Lawyer” Within your essay, please address each subtopic below.

  • How your unique personal experiences and values lead you to choose a career in law.
  • How this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
  • How you plan to use your legal education to make a meaningful impact on society and promote social justice.

Next Level Law Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Applicant is an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a career in law, compliance, or public policy.
  • Applicant is enrolled in an accredited college or university for the Spring 2023 or Fall 2023 semester.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Future Lawyers Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Is enrolled or is planning to enroll in an accredited law school within the United States
  • Achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher in their most recently completed academic semester
  • Is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • Is at least 17 years of age

  • Application requires students to provide an unofficial academic transcript, proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university, a professional headshot, and their contact information.
  • Each applicant must submit a video of 3 to 5 minutes in length answering the following prompt:

Civil Justice Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program.
  • Applicant should demonstrate a strong interest in the legal industry, journalism, and/or supporting free speech.
  • Candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above.

Pines Federal Annual Scholarship Contest

Eligibility

  • High school senior graduating in 2023, or currently enrolled in college or law school for fall 2023.

Prospective scholarship recipients must submit the following entry requirements no later than September 1, 2023:

  • Proof of legal U.S. residency, which can include a birth certificate, passport, or permanent resident card
  • One- to three-page essay describing the area of law the applicant intends to pursue/is pursuing and why
  • Proof of acceptance or attendance from a law school in the U.S.

Charles Argento Law Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizens of the United States, or legal residents who are authorized to work
  • Accepted into a U.S. university as a pre law undergraduate or attending law school
  • Planning to enroll in courses during Fall 2022-2023.
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

As a part of the application process, interested students must submit the following by 15th July 2023:

  • Resume
  • 1-3 page typed essay on the subject matter related to the area of law you intend to pursue
  • A complete copy of school transcripts
  • Proof of acceptance from a U.S. school
  • Proof you legally reside in the U.S. (birth certificate, permanent resident card, passport – Social Security Cards will not be accepted

The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship

Eligibility

  •  Must be a current or aspiring law student
  •  Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  •  Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student
  •  Must be at least 17 years of age

Each applicant must submit the required materials in order to have their application reviewed by our scholarship team. All students are asked to provide proof of enrollment and their contact information.

Additionally, applications must include a submission in the format of a video (approximately 5 minutes or less) or an essay (1000 words or less) discussing the following questions:
