My Sewing Solutions Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • You must have a 2.5 GPA or higher in a 4.0 scale
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident of the U.S.
  • You must be enrolled in a full undergraduate or graduate degree program in any accredited university

How to Apply

  •  Write an original blog post of 500-1,000 words on any of the following
    • How technology plays a huge role in helping people obtain an education.
    • Sewing and tailoring have been a field of interest for many.  What scope do you think sewing and tailoring have, in the lane of careers.  And what sewing machines for beginners would you refer to them.
    • What was your biggest turning point of your life?  How has that made an impact on you?
  •  Fill out application and submit essay at http://www.mysewingsolutions.com/#scholarship
  • There will be 3 winners:
    • 1st Place: $1,000
    • 2nd Place: $700
    • 3rd Place: $300

Invest Like the Street Future Analyst Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be a current university student pursuing a career in business.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA higher than 3.0.

How to Apply

  • Submit a copy of their most recent resume and link to their LinkedIn profile.
  • Write a 500-1000 word essay addressing the following:
    • Why do you want a career in business and what types of jobs do you plan on pursuing after school?
    • Why do you think having real world, hands-on experience prior to getting a job can dramatically make a student a much more attractive candidate?
    • How would the scholarship help you achieve your goals?

LeadQuizzes Annual Entrepreneur Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be a full time student who is attending an accredited high school, college or university.

  • Students must submit a detailed essay (1,000 – 1,500 words) on how you generated the first 100 leads in your business. Describe your story. Did you have to test a lot before you found what worked? Share the ups and downs!

ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Students who are pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Research, Land Use, Earth & Atmosphere Studies, Sustainable Land Management, Parks and Recreation, Sustainable Agriculture Systems.
  • Previous winners who are still eligible may submit a new essay that follows the same criteria.
  • Limit one essay per student each semester

  • Proof of enrollment is required along with submission.
  • Students should submit a 700 – 1500 word essay that describes who you are, why you feel it is important to maintain access to public lands for recreational use and how you plan to use your degree to advocate for the recreational use of public lands

Eligibility

  • Must be in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course in an accredited college, university or graduate school.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Proof of enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course is required.

Eligibility

  • Graduate or undergraduate student enrolled full-time at a postsecondary institution in the U.S.
  • U.S. citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. permanent residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Hatian entrants, Humanitarian parolees
  • At least 18 years of age at time of entry

How to Apply

  • Submit an essay (no more than 1,200 words) that describes the views of those passionate about drug and alcohol addiction and the effects it has on people, their health, society, and more
    • It is not necessary that you have a history with drug and alcohol addiction to enter the contest.
    • The only thing necessary is your commitment to expressing your views for:
      • The ways in which addiction affects society today.
      • What can we do to reduce these effects, help people, and lessen the burden of addiction on society?

Strata Decision Technology Scholarship

Eligibility

  • A current high school student attending a college or university in the following semester
  • A full time college or university student in good academic standing
  • Shows a desire to continue their higher education to most efficiently impact their community
