Many people who make wrong choices early on haven’t given themselves enough time to truly explore what a satisfying career looks like for them. It’s extremely important for students to give plenty of thought to their future career. The Career Search Scholarship seeks to support a student who is educating themselves and exploring potential careers that align with their goals.
The applicant must be a current high school senior or a college student living with a documented disability.
If the applicant is a high school student, then they should be planning to attend an undergraduate program in a 2 or 4 -year university/college or technical college in the Fall of the academic year following high-school graduation. The educational institution must be in the United States.
Enrollment status in school or college must be full-time or part-time.

Essay submission:
As the second part of the application process, all applicants must prepare an essay. The essay must be 750 words maximum length. In addition to providing your personal story and an explanation as to why you deserve this scholarship, you are required to explain why you believe either business or engineering is important in Canada’s/U.S. economy and how you feel you will make a difference in your chosen industry.
You must be a current high school senior, graduating in 2023 and planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college located in the United States, starting in Fall 2023.
You must be an active student member of a Chartered ChemClub Program (meaning that your Club is registered as an ACS ChemClub for the 2022-2023 school year.)
You must plan to pursue a major in a STEM field. This can include, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, material science, food science, forensic science, etc.
