Difference Makers Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Student is enrolled in an accredited university or college within the United States
  • Student is in their junior or senior year of college
  • Student is a United States citizen or permanent resident

More Details

  • Students need to submit contact information and proof of enrollment (examples: unofficial academic transcript, letter of acceptance/admittance, etc.).
  • Each student must include a submission in the form of an essay (1,000 words or less) or video (5 minutes or less) answering the following prompt:
    • What is the best memory you have made while making a difference within your community? What positive changes do you hope to make in your community in the near future? Why do you think this type of service is important?

Eco-Warrior Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Working toward living sustainably and reducing their carbon footprint
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student
  • Current U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident

Ruhmann Law Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Is a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have other legal standing allowing them to work in the U.S.
  • Have been accepted into a U.S. college or law school
  • Will be enrolling in a U.S. undergraduate pre-law program, or entering law school for the first time during the fall semester of 2023
  • Have high scholastic achievement as evidenced by a GPA of 3.0 or above

Burress Injury Law Underdog Scholarships

Eligibility

  • You are a U.S. citizen.
  • You have a demonstrated record of community or volunteer service.
  • You are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university for the 2023 academic year.
    High school graduates may apply if you are enrolled in college for the semester immediately following the application deadline.

Curt Greene Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

• For students who have keen interest in any facet of harness racing and can show financial need.
• Applicant may or may not be pursuing a career in the harness racing industry. Applicant must be at least a high school senior.
• Applicant must have GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Applicant must be (plan to be) enrolled as full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours).
• Graduate students are not eligible.
• Applications & attachments must be typed.
• Applicant name must appear on each page of application and all attachments.
• Use additional paper as needed to list achievements and answer essay questions.
• Answers to questions should be as brief as possible yet still be specific to the topic.

Application Deadline: All applications and attachments must be postmarked on or before April 30.
Award Notification: Notification will be sent on or before July 1. All applicants will be sent notification of their status.

Future Lawyer Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Rising high school seniors interested in pursuing a legal career
  • Undergraduate college students demonstrating pursuit of a legal career
  • All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
