THE EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY SCHOLARSHIP
To qualify for The Educational Journey Scholarship, an applicant must be currently enrolled in an accredited university (community college, junior college, undergraduate program, or graduate program) within the United States. High school graduates or GED holders who are preparing for college-level studies are also eligible and encouraged to apply—especially first generation students (although this award is not limited to such students). All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
All interested applicants must provide the following:
- An updated resume
- A current up-to-date transcript from the applicant’s school (NOTE: first-year students may submit an unofficial transcript from their most recent institution as well as an unofficial transcript from your current post-secondary institution.)
- A 750 word essay that discusses why you’re passionate about your studies, the steps you’re taking to make ends meet, and how you plan to use your degree upon graduation.
Further submission guidelines can be found on the scholarship’s website.
