Eligibility
- Available to any full-time student attending an accredited 2-year or 4-year college in the United States.
Essay and Video
- Candidates have the option to submit either an essay or a video.
- Essay: 600-800 words on one of the following prompts:
- Identify a business law or ethical challenge facing your community or industry today. How can the principles Alex lived by, leadership, integrity, service, and compassion, be applied to address this challenge and help others? How do you plan to embody these principles in your future career?
- An experience where you stood up for what was right in your school, work, or community, and how that experience shaped your perspective on integrity and service in leadership.
- Video: 2-3 minute video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube on one of the following prompts:
- Explain a business law topic (e.g., starting a business, contracts, trademarks, ethical leadership) in a way your peers can understand.
- Share how you personally apply Alex’s values of service and integrity in your education or community involvement.
