Nextiva Encouraging Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a high school junior or senior.
  • Applicant must plan to major in a business or STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) program.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be located in the United States.

How to Apply:

  • Write an Approximate 700 word essay on one of the following topics:
    • What are ways that a business can give back to the STEAM community?
    • Is the fragmentation of communication apps a good thing?
    • What are the biggest opportunities in today’s state of business communications?

DOLPHIN GALLERIES SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE VISUAL & CREATIVE ARTS

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be attending or planning to enroll in an accredited United States college or university during the 2020-2021 academic year.
  • Applicants must be in good academic standing.
  • Planning or currently pursuing an arts-related major or minor.

How to Apply:

In order to participate, applicants must send their works via email to scholarships@dolphingalleries.com by July 20th, 2020, at 9 a.m. PDT. In the body of the email, please include the following information:

  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • If you are under 18, the contact information for your parents
  • The name of the school you are attending or planning to attend
  • Your current or intended course of study

Please have your portfolio emailed to us by July 20th, 2020, at 9 a.m. PDT.

Once the application period has ended, our scholarship committee will review the portfolios and choose a winner by July 26th, 2020. The committee will consider the following factors:

  • Originality
  • Creativity
  • Artistic Skill
  • The substantive content of the response

The McKinney Law Group Visual Arts Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be registered as a full-time student in an art degree program for the 2019 school year and must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree
  • Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher

How to Apply

  • Submit your current college transcripts, a current curriculum vitae or resume, a cover letter explaining your artistic philosophy and reason for requesting a scholarship.
  • Submit a portfolio of at least 5 pieces of visual art. Submissions may be in photograph format. Please provide the size, medium, name of the piece and a short description.
  • If you have a website or social media page (Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.) that showcases your work, please provide a link. Do not provide personal social media websites.

FEATHR Wallpaper Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be a legal U.S. Resident
  • Must be either a current undergraduate college/university student or a current high school student that will enroll in a college/university in 2018
  • Must be studying an arts, performing arts, humanities or design-based subject
  • Must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution

All applications must be received by December 1, 2018.

How to Apply

  • Write an essay (between 700-1,000 words) on the following topic:
    • “How and why has a piece of art influenced your personal, educational and/or creative development.”
      • Tell us about what the piece of art was, where you encountered and what its impact has been, in the short and long term.

 

Vivint Smart Home Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Open to high school seniors or college students who are legal residents of the United States
  • Student must enroll in semester beginning no later than September 10, 2019
  • Home-schooled students may apply so long as your course of study is equivalent to a high school senior
  • Student must be planning on or already enrolled in one of the eligible majors listed in the Scholarship Official Rules

Robert W. Thunen Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Junior or Senior Undergraduate, or Graduate Student.
  • Enrolled full time at four year college or university in California, Nevada, Oregon or Washington pursuing a lighting career.
  • Restricted to students studying Interior Design, Engineering-Related Technologies, Engineering/Technology, TV/Radio Broadcasting, Performing Arts, or Architecture

  • Sign up for a Peterson’s account
  • Submit a statement describing proposed lighting course work or project
  • Submit 3 recommendations, at least one from someone involved professionally or academically with lighting

Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Must have a complimentary AIGA web account.
  • Applicants must be citizens of the United States or possess a green card.
    • Having DACA certification or a Social Security number does not make you eligible.
  • Undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in the fine art, graphic design, illustration, or photography.
  • Must be matriculated at accredited colleges and universities in the United States for the Fall 2018/Spring 2019 academic year with the intention of maintaining full-time status for the entire year.
  • Must have at least a 2.0 GPA.
  • Must have financial need.
