Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Have a GPA of 3.3 or greater OR rank within the top 5% of your class.
- Demonstrate execptional financial need certified by your undergraduate institutions financial aid office.
- Be able to pass a federal background check.
Additional Information
Two mandatory paid service obligations in the NIH Intramural Research Program
- 10 week full-time summer internship at the NIH immediately following the year of scholarship support.
- 1 year full-time work at the NIH post-graduation (may be deferred until completion of an advanced degree program.
