Crimson Transfer Award
$2,000

Eligibility:
- Your admissions packet must be complete with all required transcripts submitted by the end of your first term of attendance
- Have a minimum transfer GPA of 3.3 if you have with a minimum of 27 semester or 40 quarter credits of transferable work by the time you enroll – OR – have a minimum 3.4 unweighted high school GPA and minimum 3.3 cumulative transfer GPA if you have less than 27 transferable semester credits
- Be a resident of the State of Washington
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Attend WSU Pullman

High schools in Washington are invited to nominate two of their top students for this scholarship program. All nominees who complete the application process are eligible for the $4,000 Regents Scholar award. The top nominees (usually 10 recipients) are competitively selected for the Distinguished Regents Scholar award.

Experience WSU is both a scholarship program and a campus visitation event.
Eligibility:
- Apply for admission by March 31 and accept admission offer
- Attend the entire visit event
- Each student can receive only one campus visit award.
- Distinguished Regents and National Merit awardees are not eligible for this award.
Preview WSU

One-time award (non-renewable)
Preview WSU is both a scholarship program and a campus visitation event.
Eligibility:
- Apply for admission by March 31 and accept admission offer
- Attend the entire visit event
- Each student can receive only one Preview WSU award.
- Distinguished Regents and National Merit awardees are not eligible for this award.
All-Washington Academic Team
$2,000
One-time award (non-renewable)
Each year, WSU will award scholarships to 10 current year All-Washington Academic Team members who transfer to any of the university’s campuses. If more than 10 team members enroll to WSU, the university will determine who receives the scholarships.

Chancellor’s Awards for First-Year Students
$1,500
Awarded to first-year students with an unweighted cumulative high school GPA between 3.0 and 3.59. Must have demonstrated financial need.
To be considered for the Chancellors Award (on the Pullman campus), along with the GPA requirements, students must meet all priority Admission & FAFSA/WASFA dates. Because this is a need-based award, eligibility is determined by the FAFSA and WASFA. Due to these applications not being open until December, final eligibility will be determined upon receipt of the FAFSA/WASFA.
This award will begin in Fall 2025.
Chancellor’s Awards for Transfer Students
$1,500
Awarded to transfer students meeting transfer credit requirements with a cumulative college GPA between 3.0 and 3.19. Must have demonstrated financial need.
To be considered for the Chancellors Award (on the Pullman campus), along with the GPA requirements, students must meet all priority Admission & FAFSA/WASFA dates. Because this is a need-based award, eligibility is determined by the FAFSA and WASFA.
