We Do Outreach!

Our outreach team works throughout the year with WSU campus and community partners, local Washington high schools, and community colleges to bring information about college financial aid to prospective and incoming students and their families. We coordinate:

  • Local high school visits
  • College fairs
  • Events

Forget the Fees

Student Financial Services and the Bursar’s Office are working together to help you get your first late fee waived and gain financial management tools. Simply:

  • Register for a Forget the Fees financial literacy presentation from the calendar above
  • Attend the entirety of the event
  • Watch your first 3% late fee disappear!

Forget the Fees is available for Pullman students only.

Forget the Fees FAQ

No problem! You’ll get that 3% back.

We will still “waive” the late fee and you will see a refund for your overpayment.

Check your myWSU account.

Click on the Financial Account tile. Below Student Account, you should be able to see your balance and below that a red button that says “View Activity“. Here you can see a breakdown of all your charges including if you have a late fee.

Yes!

Every presentation is different and all have useful information. You can come to as many of the Forget the Fees presentations that you would like to. However, only one is required to receive the first late fee waiver, and you will not receive any further late fee waivers/reductions if you attend multiple sessions.

Register for another session.

Late fee waivers are applied at the end of each Forget the Fees presentation, so you won’t get credit for presentations you miss or leave early. If you miss your registered presentation, you may simply sign up for another!

If there are no more sessions available, you can submit a Late Fee Petition to the Bursar’s Office.

Submit a Late Fee Petition

Submit a Late Fee Petition to the Bursar’s Office. This is not a guarantee that the late fee will be waived.

3-5 business days.

We will make the proper changes to your account within 3-5 business days after the presentation you have attended.

No.

Forget the Fees waivers only apply to the first 3% late fee of the semester, and you may only waive one late fee per academic year. If you have or are expecting additional fees on your account, contact the Bursar’s Office or submit a Late Fee Petition.

This form may only be submitted after late fees post to your account.
