Connex Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Be a United States or Canadian citizen or permanent legal resident
  • At a minimum, a graduating high school senior or equivalent (GED)
  • Plan to enroll as a full-time student
  • Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Have a history of active involvement in extra-curricular activities, community service, or work experience

The purpose of the Connex Foundation Scholarship is to assist individuals who are exploring the study of skilled trades or multi-site facility management with the end goal of advancing their career in this field. The scholarship serves to promote the multi-site facilities industry by attracting high school, college-level, career transitioning, adult re-entry, and veteran students into the field of study and encouraging their pursuit with financial support.

The Connex Foundation will award scholarships up to $5,000 each in 2023 to individuals pursuing a career in the skilled trades (example: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry), construction and/or facility management industry. The scholarships will be awarded to deserving Canadian individuals and deserving U.S. individuals.
The deadline to submit an application for consideration is March 12, 2023.

American Foreign Service Association Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Student must be claimed as a dependent on the most recent IRS tax form by his/her parent(s) or guardian(s).
  • Be a current high school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.75.

Puget Sound Engineering and Science Scholarship Fund

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a US citizen
  • In or accepted into a full-time program of study towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in engineering, science, technology, or a related field at an accredited college or university.

Don’t Text & Drive Undergrad Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be high school seniors that are graduating in summer 2023; or
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university for the start of the fall 2022 semester.

  • Students will design an advertisement to educate people on the dangers of distracted driving, while including a bit of humor or irony in the ad. This is a creative opportunity where students can create a billboard, commercial, radio ad, or poster to name a few mediums.
  • Students will also aim to convince people not to text and drive, drink and drive, eat and drive, or get caught up in any other distraction while driving in their messaging or ad copy.

Mattress Research Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Current high school seniors attending school in the United States, Canada, UK
  • Anticipating completion of high school diploma at time of application or already in possession of high school diploma / GED
  • Planning to or already currently pursuing a degree at an accredited U.S. Canadian, UK, EU post-secondary institution
  • Carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA or equivalent grade average

AFA Teen Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship Form

Eligibility

1. Must be a US citizen

2. Must be currently living in the US

3. Must be attending a university in the US

4. Must be attending college immediately following graduation (no gap year/semester)

AFA Teen Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship submissions MUST meet the required formatting guidelines:

1) Submissions may be in either written essay format or video format. DO NOT SUBMIT BOTH. Duplicate submissions will be disqualified.

2) Written essay must be NO MORE than 1500 words.

3) Video must be NO MORE than 4 minutes.

4) Video format requirement is MPEG-4 (mp4, m4v)

All submissions (written or video) must answer these 3 questions:

1) How has Alzheimer’s disease changed or impacted your life?

2) What have you learned about yourself, your family, and/or your community in the face of coping with Alzheimer’s disease?

3) What are your plans to raise awareness in regards to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia?

Submissions must be accompanied by a high school transcript.
All Application submissions must be received by 5:00pm EST on March 1st 2023.

SEMA Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

  1. Minimum age of 18 years old.
  2. U.S. Citizenship.
  3. Demonstrate passion for the automotive hobby and career.
  4. Incoming freshmen or continued enrollment in college, university or post-secondary career and technology school in the United States.
  5. Pursuit of degree or certification that leads to a career in automotive. All disciplines welcome.

Anthony’s Scholarship-Living with a Sense of Purpose

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must be enrolled in an academic program. This includes current high school seniors and college students with plans to continue their education in the upcoming semester.
  • Applicants must also have maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA in school.

In order to be considered, an application for this scholarship must include:

  • A school resume,
  • A recent transcript,
  • A 500-1,000 word article with thoughtful ideas on how legislation can be implemented to lower or decrease the rate of suicide in the United States.*

McCormick & Murphy Distracted Driving Scholarship

Eligibility

Applicants must be current high school seniors planning to attend a 4-yr college/university or 2-yr community college OR currently enrolled in a 4-yr college/university or 2-yr community college.

At Nectar Bath Treats, we’re a firm believer that self care plays a large role in our mental health. With depression and anxiety rates growing every year, we understand that boosting our collective mental health can dramatically improve our society as a whole.

That’s why we have created a scholarship for highschool and college students across the United States. We’re committed to helping students in the field of psychology or social services by offering a $1,000 scholarship to help continue on the path to helping others struggling with mental health issues.

The deadline to apply is March 15th 2023.

Winner of the $1,000 scholarship will be announced on March 31, 2023 after all submissions have been reviewed by our team.
