This webpage will assist you as you navigate through your finances at WSU. Please review the information below to learn more about the timeline for charges, financial aid, housing and dining, and important reminders.

Spring Charges Begin Posting

Late November

Registered students will begin seeing charges posted for:

  • Tuition
  • Mandatory Fees
  • Room & Board
    • Applies to Residence Halls and University Owned Apartments.
    • Room & Board Charges will be automatically placed in a payment plan, please click here for more information.









Financial Aid Begins Posting

Early January

Grants, scholarships, waivers and accepted loans will begin disbursing. If you accepted loans, make sure to:

  • Complete Entrance Counseling
  • Sign Master Promissory Note

Refunds Start Disbursing

Early January

Once financial aid has paid off your due charges, any remaining aid will be sent to you as a refund. Check your address for a check in the mail. Keep in mind, not every student will get a refund. For the fastest way to receive a refund, enroll in Direct Deposit.

Charges Due

January 8

Charges are due the first day of classes.

The following late fees will be assessed if charges are not paid on time.

  • 3% Late Fee: January 22, 2108
  • 5% Late Fee: February 7, 2018
  • 7% Late Fee: February 22, 2018






Financial Aid Census

January 19

On this day, WSU will take a “snapshot” of your enrollment for the semester. This snapshot determines what financial aid (loans and grants) you will receive for the term.

Apply for 2018-19 FAFSA/WASFA

October 1

FAFSA and WASFA applications open for the 2018-2019 school year. The priority deadline for current students is: November 30, 2017
