ASCE Eugene C. Figg, Jr. Civil Engineering Scholarship

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled junior or senior civil engineering student in an ABET-accredited program who will be registered as an undergraduate during the fall term of the year of the award.
• Is a US Citizen
• Student member of ASCE in good standing
• Has a passion for bridges.
• Previous holders of the scholarship may re-apply as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

Application

• Complete applications are to be submitted to the ASCE Honors and Awards Program office for receipt by February 10 of the year of award.
• Application must include
  • Completed application form;
  • Statement by the applicant addressing his/her interest in bridge design or construction;
  • Detailed annual budget;
  • Official transcript;
  • Resume; and
  • Minimum of two sealed letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a faculty member.
