MG Eugene C. Renzi, USA (Ret.) STEM Teachers Scholarship
Eligibility
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Graduate-level candidates must currently be in at least their second semester and taking at least two (2) semester-equivalent courses per term at accredited college or university in the United States and majoring in education for the purpose of teaching STEM subjects in a U.S. school in grades K-12 at the time of application.
- A current overall GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in their current program at an accredited U.S. college or university is required at the time of application. Applicants must have completed a B.S. degree in a STEM major.
- Credential/licensure candidates must be U.S. citizens with a completed B.S. degree or graduate degree in a STEM major (undergrad/grad transcript required). Must be currently enrolled and have started the program at the time of application.
More Details
In addition to the online application, other required documents include:
- Current Official Transcript: with completed courses and grades including grades from the Fall 2022 semester. Submit electronically through school to edfoundation@afcea.org. If electronic submission of your transcript is not possible, please send official document to the AFCEA address listed below to arrive by the deadline date.
- Two Letters of Recommendation: from faculty in the major of study. Have your references submit their letters of recommendation in pdf form via email to edfoundation@afcea.org.
- Undergraduate Transcript: either official or unofficial emailed to edfoundation@afcea.org.
- Current résumé: emailed as pdf to edfoundation@afcea.org.
- If currently employed as a teacher: one additional letter of recommendation from your school principal.
