Two Ten Footwear Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Higher Education scholarship applicants must have a minimum of two years employment in the footwear industry (1,000 hours over two years) and be members of the community in good standing
  • Applicant must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Applicant must be enrolled or be about to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year institution (a college, university, vocational/technical school, or nursing school)

The 7th Amendment Scholarship

Eligibility

All applicants to this scholarship must meet the eligibility requirements as laid out on the scholarship application page, including:

  • Applicant must be enrolled at a college, university or graduate school
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old at the age of enrollment
  • Applicant must have residency in the United States
  • Applicant must be in good academic standing
  • Applicant must submit some personal information, including name, contact information, and proof of enrollment.
  • Applicant must author an original essay on the scholarship essay topic provided of between 500 and 1,000 words.

Anyone who meets the following conditions is NOT eligible to apply:

  • Employees or children of employees of McCoy & Hiestand
  • Past recipients of the 7th Amendment Scholarship
  • Applicants who are unable/unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of McCoy & Hiestand if they were to be awarded a scholarship.
  • Applicants who submit the same essay for multiple scholarships

Undergraduate and graduate students are all invited to apply for the 7th Amendment Scholarship. Along with their scholarship essays, students are expected to submit evidence that they meet the scholarship’s criteria, including:

  • Evidence of a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Evidence of enrollment in an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States
  • A 500 to 1,000-word essay answering the question: should the 7th Amendment be construed literally?

An End to Stigma within the Justice System Scholarship

Eligibility

  • You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • You are enrolled in or accepted at an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States
  • You agree to the scholarship terms and conditions 
    • Applicant must be enrolled at a college, university, or graduate school
    • Applicant must be at least 18 years old at the age of enrollment
    • Applicant must have residency in the United States
    • Applicant must be in good academic standing
    • Applicant must submit some personal information, including name, contact information, and proof of enrollment.
    • Applicant must author an original essay on the scholarship essay topic provided.

More Details

Winston Law wants students to submit scholarship essays describing the impact stigma has had on the justice system. This essay can elaborate on the ways stigma has impeded justice on a broader level or how the applying student has experienced stigma themselves.

Students’ essays must be a minimum of 1,000 words. Students should take care to cite their work and bring forward notable examples of stigma either in their personal lives or as it’s been exhibited in the justice system.

Stromberg’s Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must be a permanent legal U.S. resident physically residing in the fifty United States of America or a holder of a valid student visa
  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in agricultural sciences and other related studies.

Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident.
  • Be enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university and plan on attending in the following year.
  • Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a teaching major.
  • Have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed in your degree.
  • Agree to provide a digital photograph of yourself and a quote for display on TeacherCertification.com if chosen as the award winner by our selection committee.
  • High school seniors who are graduating and meet the above-mentioned criteria may apply.

The winner of this award will be chosen based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered.

  • Must be currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited university or college
