You are at least 18 years of age
You are a U.S. citizen
You have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
You are enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate program or law school for the upcoming semester.

We want to see your marketing skills in action! In order to apply, we ask that you do the following:
Imagine that you have graduated from law school and you are starting your own legal practice, with a website to promote your firm and help potential clients find you. Write a brief overview of your practice (300-500 words) that would appear at the top of your home page. You should consider:
What practice areas your firm would focus on
What kinds of clients you would like to serve
What would set your practice apart from other law firms
What values would be at the center of your practice
Along with your written response, you must submit an academic transcript, a professional headshot (must be a JPEG file!), and contact information including your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
All applicants for the Scholarship must meet the following eligibility requirements:
You are a U.S. Citizen or hold Permanent Residency status.
You must be a current law student at an accredited U.S. law school, or undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university who has applied to or will apply to law school.
Your GPA must meet a minimum score of 3.0
You must provide proof of enrollment. Please attach a digital copy of any official correspondence with your school. Examples include but are not limited to:

Letter from admissions department confirming deposit
Official enrollment form
Acceptance letter on school letterhead
Finalists for the Scholarship must provide the following documents:
A valid transcript reflecting current academic standing, including at least a 3.0 GPA
A copy of your U.S. driver’s license, U.S. State ID Card, and/or passport. These are the only acceptable forms of identification to submit to us upon request.
You must complete all entry fields on the application for the scholarship and meet the minimum essay word count. Entries that fail to do so will not be considered.
Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or law school for the Fall 2024 semester
Must be pursuing a paralegal, legal assistant, or pre-law program.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
Must be a single parent or child of a single parent

How has the experience of being a single parent or the child of a single parent influenced your educational and career goals? How do you plan to achieve those goals? (500-1000 words)
Applicants who meet these qualifications will be considered:
The student is pursuing a career in the legal field.
The student maintains a 3.5 grade point average or higher (if you do not currently have a GPA, you may provide your GPA from your most recently completed academic semester).
The student is enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program within the United States.
The student is at least 17 years old.

Our scholarship team will review each application carefully. The applicant who best meets the following evaluation criteria will be chosen as our recipient:
The student is eligible for our award and submitted all appropriate documents.
The essay meets the required word count and answers the prompt in its entirety.
The essay’s content is unique with clear, concise, and developed ideas.
The student’s writing is organized, articulate, and of high quality.
We will complete our selection process within a month of the deadline and notify the award recipient by July 24, 2023.
You must maintain a minimum GPA score of 3.5 through the time that you are applying.
You must be able to demonstrate full-time enrollment at an accredited institution in pursuit of one of the degrees mentioned above. You can still apply for the scholarship if you have not been accepted into a program yet, but you will not receive the funds without proof of acceptance or enrollment

How to Apply:
Complete the Scholarship form found on the company’s website.
Submit an essay of 850-1,150 words that outlines your future goals and what you plan to do with the degree you earn.
An official transcript reflecting your current academic standing, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and proof of enrollment. If sent via email, an unopened official transcript must be sent by mail to the address at the bottom of this section.

Applicant must be either a current law student at an accredited law school or at an accredited undergraduate university planning to attend law school for the following academic year.
Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
