The 2023 college scholarship is open to students who:
Are enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States for the Fall 2023 semester
Application requirements
The application must consist of the following:
Your 800 to 1,000-word essay
A short biography about yourself, including your background, where you went to high school and your college and career goals
Scholarship deadline & winner announcement
The 2023 scholarship for college students will be open until March 10, 2023. The winner will be announced on April 14, 2023. The student will then have 5 days to accept the scholarship. The $500 check will be sent to the school of the winner.

Video presentation (60 seconds max) on the following topic:
If you had up to one minute with your younger self at the time you started high school, what advice would you give on how to stay safe on city streets – whether as a driver, passenger, cyclist, or pedestrian?
Must be submitted through a link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
High School Transcript that includes class rank and size.
Optional: 1 or more letters of recommendation that discuss the applicants’ achievements, academic potential, and involvement in their school and community.
This contest is open to all high school, college and university students enrolled during the time period of the contest in an academic program designed to conclude with the awarding of a diploma or a degree.
This contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, as well as American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. International students who have a student visa to attend school in the United States are considered legal residents and eligible.
Applicants must be 14 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless prohibited by law.
Employees of Sponsor, their family members, and persons living in the same household as employees or their family members are not eligible.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship: gallerycollection.com’s annual $10,000 contest to create a Christmas card, holiday card, birthday card or all-occasion greeting card.
Void where prohibited by law. The Contest is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
One application allowed per person. If it is determined that a person has entered with more than one identity, all of that person’s entries will be disqualified.
No prize will be awarded to applicants who do not meet the eligibility requirements. All information on the application must be accurate and complete.

Note: This scholarships has two submission deadlines (January 15 & September 15) annually. The posted deadline is the latter of the two.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States. This includes students that have been accepted and have committed to attend a specific college or university next semester.

Reflect on your personal experiences in life. What challenges or adversity have you experienced? How did you overcome these obstacles, and what advice would you give to someone else facing similar circumstances?
Supply a resume, academic transcript, and college or university Letter of Acceptance (not required if you provide current college transcripts.
