Eligibility
- Between the ages of 8 and 18 (not yet age 19)
- Permanent residents of and currently residing in the U.S.A. or Canada
- Currently working on an inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months
- Working as an individual to lead their service work. The Barron Prize does not accept applications from large groups of young people.

Eligibility
- Must be 18 years of age or older as of Aug. 9, 2023 and enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university for the fall 2019 semester.
- Must have declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related life science field
- Graduate students must have a cumulative graduate GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and have received a cumulative undergraduate GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Undergraduate Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors must have a cumulative college GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Undergraduate Freshmen must have a cumulative high school GPA of minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
