Frame my Future Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be a legal U.S. resident who will be a full-time student at a U.S. college or university in the 2023–2024 academic year.

Whether through photography, ink, collage, painting, mixed media, or graphic design work, submit an original creation expressing what YOU hope to achieve in your personal and professional life after college. The top FOUR students with the most votes will receive a $6k, $2.5k, $1k, or $500 college scholarship for the Fall 2023-2024 tuition year.

  • The entry period is from 10/1/22 to 3/1/23 at noon (11:59 am ET). Only one entry allowed per contestant.
  • Descriptions cannot exceed 500 characters.
  • All submissions are final; no changes.
  • Your entry piece MUST be a JPG/JPEG or PNG file format no larger than 10MB.

Mann Lake Beekeeping Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
  • Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Must be a student/enrollee of any of the following: entomology program, major in agriculture & environmental sciences, or other related studies.

For a chance to win the scholarship, write a 300-word essay on any of the following topics:

  • In the fast-changing environment now, in your own words, how did it affect the bees, and what must be done to protect their population from getting smaller?
  • How can we spread awareness that caring for the bees is caring for the environment in general?
  • Aside from honey, what other benefits of bees are underrated?

Essays must be submitted as an attached PDF file to scholarship@mannlake.com, along with  the following details:

  • Phone number
  • School name
  • Date of birth

James McKiernan Law Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Be accepted or attend a law school in the U.S.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident who is authorized to work in the country

Prospective scholarship recipients must submit the following entry requirements no later than September 1, 2023:

  • Proof of legal U.S. residency, which can include a birth certificate, passport, or permanent resident card
  • One- to three-page essay describing the area of law the applicant intends to pursue/is pursuing and why
  • Proof of acceptance or attendance from a law school in the U.S.

Charles Argento Law Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizens of the United States, or legal residents who are authorized to work
  • Accepted into a U.S. university as a pre law undergraduate or attending law school
  • Planning to enroll in courses during Fall 2022-2023.
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

As a part of the application process, interested students must submit the following by 15th July 2023:

  • 1-3 page typed essay on the subject matter related to the area of law you intend to pursue
  • A complete copy of school transcripts
  • Proof of acceptance from a U.S. school

The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship

Eligibility

  •  Must be a current or aspiring law student
  •  Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  •  Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student
  •  Must be at least 17 years of age

Each applicant must submit the required materials in order to have their application reviewed by our scholarship team. All students are asked to provide proof of enrollment and their contact information.

Additionally, applications must include a submission in the format of a video (approximately 5 minutes or less) or an essay (1000 words or less) discussing the following questions:

Challenge Yourself Scholarship

Eligibility

  • History of participating in Scouts, Acting/Theatre, Debate Club, or Speech
  • Planning to attend or already enrolled in an accredited college or university as an incoming freshman
  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Be at least 17 years of age upon applying for the scholarship

To be considered for one of our Fall 2023 Gold Law Scholarship awards, students must submit an essay (appr. 500 words) that includes the following:

A thoughtful response to the following question:

How has participation in activities such as scouts, acting, debate, and/or speech helped you get through difficult periods of your life, build leadership skills, or prepared you for success in the future?

Each essay should contain at least one embedded image to assist in the applicant’s message. The Gold Law Firm believes in the power of imagery for communication. We regularly provide courts and juries with documents that contain not only our legal arguments but also images that assist with our communication.

Magaña & Van Dyke Dominick Marsala Memorial Scholarship

Applications are currently open for the Fall 2024 Semester

Each semester, our criminal defense firm offers college students the opportunity to be awarded $1,000 through the Magaña & Van Dyke Dominick Marsala Memorial Scholarship. Our team understands how difficult it can be to pursue personal interests outside of school and work, and we believe it is incredibly valuable to maintain such hobbies throughout your life, despite challenging transitions and busy schedules. Through the Magaña & Van Dyke Dominick Marsala Memorial Scholarship, our firm works to provide students with financial assistance to help them pursue their goals and passions.

Student has a minimum grade point average of 3.0

Student is enrolled an accredited college or university for the Fall 2024 semester

Student is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program

Student is a permanent resident or citizen of the United States

What Are the
Application Requirements?

To be considered for the Magaña & Van Dyke Dominick Marsala Memorial Scholarship, students must submit a video of 3 minutes or less answering the following prompt: Making time for hobbies can greatly benefit a person and ensure that they are focused on what is important to them. What would you consider to be your lifelong hobby?

How have you maintained this hobby throughout your life, and how do you plan to continue to make time for it while also pursuing a higher education, working, and/or focusing on other priorities? How has this hobby helped you to excel in other areas of your life?

Additionally, applications must include the student’s contact information, proof of enrollment, and proof of GPA.

 

 

DeviceLab Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be United States residents.
  • Applicants must currently attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be majoring in engineering or biomedical engineering.

More Details

  • Submissions will be in the form of a 1,000-word essay chosen from one of the following topics:
    • What role, if any, do you believe AI will play in the development and engineering of medical devices moving into the future?
    • What kinds of medical devices do you believe will be the most important to develop in the next 20 years and why?
    • Do you believe there are any steps that should be added or streamlined to current regulations surrounding medical device approval? If so, what would they be and why?
    • If you could work on developing any type of medical device, what would it be and why? How will your education contribute to the success of these projects?
    • As technology continues to rapidly evolve, what do you see as the next big innovation coming to medical devices? Why?
  • DeviceLab staff will screen and select applications for the final winner.
  • Essays will be assessed based on content for: contribution, originality, creativity, and overall writing quality.
  • The deadline for submission is November 30, 2023.
  • The winner will be notified by December 31, 2023.
  • The winner is selected at the sole discretion of DeviceLab
  • $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one student

Latino/a Education Achievement Project Scholarship

Eligibility

High school seniors, new and current college undergraduates and, and new and current graduate students who will be:

  • Enrolling in a higher education institute the upcoming academic year.
  • Demonstrate a sense of obligation to improving or advancing the community.
  • Committed to achieving educational and leadership goals.
  • Exhibit financial need due to individual/family hardship.
  • Will be enrolling as a half-time or full-time student in a higher education institute the upcoming academic year.

 

FLUSCHE & FITZGERALD Undergrad Scholarship

The Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest requires students to raise awareness about different legal issues. Applicants must create a public service advertisement video (PSA) about this prompt: What should motorists do while driving if they see a law enforcement vehicle that is stopped on the side of the road?

Eligibility

The following people are eligible for the scholarship:

  • Students who are currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university, or trade school.
  • People who are accepted into a U.S. graduate school.

You must be a citizen or lawful resident of the United States in order to apply.

More Details

  • Create your video and make sure it is no longer than TWO minutes.
  • Upload your video to YouTube.
  • In the YouTube description of the video, include a link to this page.
  • Once your video has been uploaded, fill out the Application Form at the bottom of this page.
