Point Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled or intending to enroll at an accredited college or university based in the United States, in the fall of 2018.
  • Must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community.
  • Must be enrolled full-time for the full academic year.
  • Must be enrolled in a degree-granting undergraduate or graduate/doctoral program. Post-doctoral research programs are not eligible.
  • Students studying at community colleges, online programs, or trade schools are not eligible.
  • Community college students must be transferring to a four-year college or university.
  • Must be at least a senior in high school.
  • If selected as a finalist, the finalist must be in North or Central America on April 26-28 and be available to fly to Los Angeles in order to remain eligible for the scholarship. All travel expenses will be covered by Point.

Pretty Lightroom Presets Scholarship Program

Eligibility

  • You should presently be a senior in high school;
  • Or be transitioning from high school to a college or university;
  • Or be already enrolled in a college or university inside the United States or Canada.
  • Employees and their immediate family members of PhotoshopActions.com are not eligible to participate.

How to Apply

  • Carefully research and compose an essay style Adobe Lightroom tutorial of 800 to 1,000 words, with screenshots and photos included to illustrate your points on one of the following topics. Use proper grammar and punctuation. Choose a topic below for your tutorial essay:
    • A Lightroom Mobile tutorial
    • Lightroom techniques for Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer photos
    • How to re-touch skin in Lightroom for photographers
    • Any How To Lightroom tutorial
    • How Lightroom has changed photography
  • Email your essay in Microsoft Word document or plain text format to scholarship@lightroompresets.com
    • Please specify your name, contact telephone number, email address and mailing address. Your contact information will be held in confidence and will not be shared.
    • You can review our privacy policy here.
    • Include the name of the college or university and their mailing address of the financial aid office that you are presently attending or that you’ll be attending after high school.
    • Please attach a headshot photo of yourself in .JPG or .PNG format that is at least 300 pixels wide.
